Facebook undertook a massive rebrand in 2022, becoming the company now known as, Meta.
After the brand launch, I partnered with the Meta’s Brand Governance team to provide creative direction and apply design-systems thinking to help Meta teams deliver on-brand, global marketing materials across all media by providing feedback as projects develop – from concept-phase through shipping. Brand Review submissions include: high-visibility events, OOH campaigns, websites, TV ads, social content, emails, printed signage and swag.
Collaborating with cross-functional partners in Design, Legal, Brand Strategy, Brand Ops and Brand Governance led to consistent presentation in events such as:
• Are We There Yet, social video content series
• Meta Connect 2023
• Creator House @SXSW, presented by Rolling Stone and Meta
• Meta @ Cannes Lions Intl. Festival of Creativity
• Meta Rugby World Cup France 2023
• Meta House @Art Basel, Miami Art Week
What started as an 8-hour hackathon has evolved into a 2-day event for developers, creators, entrepreneurs and innovators from around the world.
For Facebook's 10th F8 conference. I created a Keynote presentation that shows how PyTorch is being used to help accelerate the path from novel research to large scale production deployment in computer vision, natural language processing and machine translation at Facebook.
The Oculus Connect 6 conference gathered the industry's leading developers, creators and visionaries to celebrate VR's journey and the road ahead.
Oculus Link on Quest: One of the Keynote presentations I created showcased the new Oculus Link cable and the work that went into bringing Remote Rendering to life for Quest from a product and technical standpoint.
Virtual Community: Why Meaningful Relationships are Vital to the Success of VR: The other Keynote presentation I created, helped Tyler Hopf (Product Design Manager, Facebook AR/VR) illustrate the unique value of placeness that VR can provide to communities and review techniques for designing virtual spaces that encourage social interaction and foster community.

Emily the Strange is a popular character featured in graphic novels, movies and gift merchandise including clothing, stationery, stickers and fashion accessories.
During my tenure at Cosmic Debris, Inc. (Emily's parent company), my many roles included design, illustration and branding. All of which saw it's way to gift products, packaging, merchandising and style-guides for licensing.
